  1. I am the 2nd oldest of 9 children. Since I was the oldest daughter, I was the designated built-in babysitter. My older brother was in charge of taking out the trash. I was always under the impression that he got the easier task. It’s all a matter of point of view, I suppose. 🙂

    • I was the third child and first daughter, Mary. I definitely fit the middle child personality.
Sounds like both you and your brother learned a lot of life skills while you were growing up! 🙂

      • I had a college Philosophy professor that said its not a good idea for a guy to date the oldest daughter that comes from a large family. She is used to telling everyone what to do. On the other hand, he said, the youngest daughter is the best girl to date. She is used to following orders without question. WHAT? Me, the “oldest daughter” in my family — was about to tell him what for! 🙂
