My Life Is My Masterpiece ~ Lessons Learned

My theme for the A to Z Blog Challenge @AprilA2Z during the month of April is ~ My Life Is My Masterpiece ~ Lessons Learned.  For each of the 26 Days (with Sundays off) I’ll be posting a word that begins with each letter of the alphabet that fits my theme.   This blog/website has become one way to share about myself to my children, my grandchildren and my extended family who are scattered all over the country and the world.  Hopefully, anyone who reads this will be in some way blessed by my throwing my words out onto the World Wide Web and into the Universe.

My About Page gives me the focus so that, as I age, I don’t forget what I worked so hard to learn.  It’s going to be fun and challenging!   I hope you’ll stick with me as I strive to meet my goal!!

* Note:  My letter sketches were made from ideas I found on Google Images. *

  3. I really like the drawings of letters and it’s kinda interesting why did you choose those words in favor of plenty other words. Nonetheless, it reveals a lot about thoughts and mindset that you may have, and that is definitely some courage! 🙂

    • Thanks! It was an amazing challenge on lessons I’ve learned and am still learning. You can click on the AtoZ Challenge in my menu at the top and see each day’s post. I enjoyed reading your post on mindset and decided to follow! 🙂

      • Human’s life is designed to learn and it is our duty to strive for this process and keep it up. The moment a person stops learning, that moment person “dies”.. The sad part is many of fellows around us are already gone simply because they refuse to learn.

  6. J here, stopping by from the #atozchallenge – where I am part of Arlee Bird’s A to Z Ambassador Team.
Excellent choice for an A to Z challenge theme. Good job. My theme is the craft of fiction writing. Tips, lessons, and prompts from various writing reference books. I follow it up with a sample of my work.
Your theme has spectacular letter drawings.
April should be exciting. I’m looking forward to the event. Best of luck to us both on meeting our goals of posting and hopping to other blogs.
My blog has a giveaway. There’s a bonus a to z challenge each day to encourage people to visit more stops.

  7. Awesome theme. I love your topics. I will have to stop by during the challenge and check them out! This is my first year doing the challenge, but I am excited. I have a goal of visiting all the blogs that are participating, so I am very ambitious (and exactly why I am starting early), and it may take me some time to get back here, but I will, I promise. I have already found some really great blogs! Cassie from Mommy, RN

  10. Looks like a great theme. I’ll be sure to stop back during the challenge to check out some of your posts. Your letter art is beautiful. I’m as excited to learn about other bloggers as I am to work through my own posts during my first ever a-z challenge. Good luck!

  11. Love it, Mary Lou! I’m a Zentangle fan myself and think your letters are great. Also, I really appreciate where you’re coming from in terms of looking back on your life and recognizing all that you’ve learned. We resist the idea of aging as a culture and yet, guess what? It happens and is not the end of the world — on the contrary, there are wonderful opportunities for continued growth. Write on!
