“I don’t have to chase extraordinary moments to find happiness–it’s right in front of me if I’m paying attention and practicing gratitude.”
Brene Brown
This really works! It’s amazing how your attitude turns around when you make a conscious effort to focus on the good things in your life. Sure, your life might not be what you see as ‘perfect’ in someone else’s life. The only way to put good things in our own life is through keeping the good enough things front and center in our vision…… each step moving us closer to the life we’re meant to have. ♥

Hi Marylou I particularly love the last quote. I wrote about Gratitude and how it is good for our health and happiness. When we stop and take time to feel grateful we realise our own world is not so bad after all. Sue from Sizzling Towards Sixty

Love that quote too, Sue! When we keep re-directing out thoughts towards an attitude of gratitude things begin to change. Looking forward to receiving your newsletter! 🙂

Gratitude is something which many do not possess…
Very aptly put that we need to keep the good things in front of our eyes and be grateful for what we have!
Lovely post 🙂

Gratitude is turning out to be a popular choice for “G” – it’s such a great attitude to have and helps us feel happy and abundant – what more could we ask for? Leanne @ cresting the hill
