My theme for the A to Z Blog Challenge @AprilA2Z during the month of April is ~ My Life Is My Masterpiece ~ Lessons Learned
************
Lean heavily on God within you, however you might understand that life-giving force to be. In life, you’re dealing with people ~ human beings ~ who can let you down. (The wise counsel of my mother over the years. ♥) It seems like this is a lifetime lesson. How to balance loving and trusting? People who I thought had my back, didn’t. People who I thought I could count on, I wasn’t able to. And that’s OK. I’ve learned lessons and became stronger along the way. ♥

We picked the same word again. I have chosen Trusting our instincts 🙂 And the video was also in my agenda to post but chose something else in the last minute.

Another good one. I particularly like the quote about forgiving others to be able to move on in life. I have had to do that with certain people who were in my life. Saying that, I don’t trust others very easily, but have been trying to work on that. ~Meg Writer‘s Crossings

Thanks, Meg! I think it’s wise to allow trust to grow over time. Trust needs to be earned. 🙂

Trust is a powerful word. You got to choose whom to trust and whom not to. Because there are people under the tag of friends who eventually turn out to be backstabbers and are ready to push you down! I loved the blog post and your blog 🙂 Keep Blogging!

Beautiful post. I loved the video. Amazing what they can do with the bodies and the trust it takes to even begin learning those moves. Such a great metaphor.

I don’t think I’ve ever had a body that could do that, Mary! I agree with you! It just seemed to fit in with my post on ‘Trust’. 🙂

Trust was one of the biggest things I tried to instill in my sons – as in, be consistent in your behaviour that others can trust you to do what you say you’re going to do, and speak the truth. In the same way, I tried to be that example for them.
I know that’s a different angle from the one you intended, but sometimes I wonder if trust is one of those chicken-and-egg things. Do we lose our ability to trust in ourselves because other’s have failed us so badly and we don’t feel worthy?
