My theme for the A to Z Blog Challenge @AprilA2Z during the month of April is ~ My Life Is My Masterpiece ~ Lessons Learned

I believe the closest experience of ‘unconditional’ love comes with being a mother. It doesn’t matter how old your child is or whether they live nearby or far away. A mother carries her child in her heart forever. With Mother’s Day coming up I wanted to share this beautiful song I discovered while putting together the AtoZChallenge.

Beautiful poem and a good reminder that nothing is perfect in life.

I loved your post today! That song made me cry as I thought about my grown children- we always want to keep them safe even when they’re no longer in our arms! Blessings to you

My sons are all grown up too! They’re always in our hearts if not in our arms. Thanks for sharing! ❤

That poem or perhaps better, “advice to ourselves” was so thought provoking and would make one really ponder. We are taught and have unconditional love held up as the ultimate love – the goal to be achieved.
And, yes, love can have many, many faces and aspects. Allowing each and all their time and place in the overall context of that is the bottom line – and not conditioning it on being unconditional — not conditioning love on being unconditional — seems to me to be such a gift and sharing.
Good find! Thanks so much for that.

I pinned that quote Mary Lou because it is such an eloquent way of summing up real, down to earth love! Leanne @ cresting the hill
