My Life Is My Masterpiece ~ Lessons Learned
My theme ~ Lessons Learned. I’ll be posting a word that begins with each letter of the alphabet that fits my theme. This blog/website has become one way to share about myself to my children, my grandchildren and my extended family who are scattered all over the country and the world. Hopefully, anyone who reads this will be in some way blessed by my throwing my words out onto the World Wide Web and into the Universe.
My About Page gives me the focus so that, as I age, I don’t forget what I worked so hard to learn. It’s going to be fun and challenging! I hope you’ll stick with me as I strive to meet my goal!!

Intuition goes hand in hand with Decisions……….. I’m one of the biggest procrastinators because of second-guessing myself. Usually, my first gut instinct is pretty good. Go with your own best conclusion on a given situation instead of looking to others and second guessing yourself. Listening to others is one thing. Always deferring to their way is another.

If I follow my intuition I usually am on the right track. Second guessing myself usually leads to making a mistake.

Oh ….. me too! All the angst over making a ‘right’ decision. 🙂

I don’t think we give intuition enough credit in our lives Mary Lou – as we get older we have so much wisdom that has been gathered from previous experience, so we should be able to trust that gut instinct (but we still second guess ourselves don’t we?)

It sounds like a lot of us are second guessers. I’m always learning to let go of the ‘what ifs’ and just trust myself. 🙂

Hi Mary Lou, like Pat, I didn’t realise that intuition meant learning from within. I know we all have this capacity it is just a matter of tuning into ourselves and how we feel. Thanks for linking up and joining us at #MLSTL and have a great week! 🙂

I’ve always been more about facts and figures, so learning to listen to my intuition is in-fact a learning experience. I’m also am huge on “second guessing” after big decisions… like the car I bought yesterday. All night I was second thinking my choice. My intuition says … its the right one… I think! LOL. Visiting from MLSTL… and going to look at a few more letters you’ve posted since my last visit!

Hahaha! I’m a second guesser too! And terrible at decision making. Trusting my own gut and intuition was a big thing for me.

I didn’t know that intuition means learning from within. I like that definition of it and agree that I was most certainly not taught to do that as a child. However as an adult I’ve caught onto intuition and my life has been better because of it.
