My Life Is My Masterpiece ~ Lessons Learned
My theme ~ Lessons Learned. I’ll be posting a word that begins with each letter of the alphabet that fits my theme. This blog/website has become one way to share about myself to my children, my grandchildren and my extended family who are scattered all over the country and the world. Hopefully, anyone who reads this will be in some way blessed by my throwing my words out onto the World Wide Web and into the Universe.
My About Page gives me the focus so that, as I age, I don’t forget what I worked so hard to learn. It’s going to be fun and challenging! I hope you’ll stick with me as I strive to meet my goal!!

Clearly, there’s no going back and changing what happened or what I might have done differently in my life if I’d known what I know now after lessons learned.
So………………….

Write Your Biggest Regret
************
It’s never too late to do some of the things you’d regret in the end not trying out. I’ve come to the conclusion that we can only do the best we can with what we’ve got so get out there and do them…………….. and in the end you realize that ‘Old Blue Eyes’ had it right even though we might not choose his way. Depending on our circumstances in life we can only work on ourselves and try to create a life that is our true selves. I’m just grateful to have reached this time in my life where I can say, in my own way, I did it my way (and God was with me through it all).

One of my life mantras: live life with no regrets 🙂 Yes, I’ve made mistakes – but I always learn the greatest lessons from those mistakes.

Hi Mary Lou, your post fits nicely with mine this week about ‘It’s never too late….’ We all have regrets and sometimes we can actually change some of them but for those that we can’t change we have to move on, learn from them and make the most of each day. Thank you for the reminder and for sharing at #MLSTL, Have a beautiful week 🙂

One of the opening lines on the back cover of my memoir is “Janet has no regrets.” I totally agree — lessons learned. We do what we can with the knowledge and wisdom and energy we have in the moment. Thanks for sharing.

I pinned a couple of these Mary Lou – it’s something I’ve come to appreciate over time – regrets are useless, we did our best at the time and beating ourselves up in hindsight is pointless and painful. Time to move forward and learn from anything we might have done differently.
Thanks for linking up with us at #MLSTL – I’ll be sharing this on my SM xx
